Each filter contains a thick, greaseless, flat foam sealing ring that insures maximum contact with your airbox, acting as a breathable gasket. They are made to fit in stock airboxes. A flame-retardant foam layer laminated to the filter that eliminates the restrictive, stock backfire screen.
