Proud and strong, the Buffalo Nickel is the showcase of the Buffalo Nickel Medallion Necklace. The Buffalo Nickel was minted from 1913 to 1938 and designed by James Earle Fraser. H e used three different Native Americas as models to make the composite shown on the obverse of the coin. The coin is set in a gold tone rope bezel with jet black stones. The Buffalo Nickel coin hangs from a 18 inch goldtone chain with 3 inch extender and a lobster claw clasp for security. It measures 1 1/4" x 1 1/16" x 1/8" and weighs only 2 oz.
