Food grade plastic does not stain or breathe. Lid (included) has drilled grommeted hole to fit an airlock (10 gallon lid is solid - has no hole). Be sure to buy a size up from your batch size. Example, if you are doing a 1-gallon, use a 2 gallon bucket; 5-gallon batch, use a 6.5; 6-gallon use 7.9 bucket.
