Well look no further, Gen5DIY has your solution. This kit is available for 2016-2017 Camaro's that have the I05 or I06 radio. Note: Unfortunately this is not available if you have the 7" screen radio.Features:Camera Icon: Your radio will now have a camera icon that you can select to either view a front image, if you choose to add a front camera, or it will display the rear image even if the car is not in reverse.With Front Camera: If you choose to add the front camera, it will function as follows. Driving down the road you can push the camera icon and once the image is displayed a 25 second timer will start and after the 25 seconds the camera will turn off. You can simply tap the icon again and the timer will restart. If you are sitting still, and not in reverse, tapping the camera icon will allow the front camera to come on and stay on until the car is put into reverse or you start moving and the 25 second timer begins. If you add the front camera you cannot view the rear camera while moving, the rear camera will only come on in reverse.Without Front Camera: If you simply opp for the Camaro vision without adding a front camera, function will be as follows. Driving down the road you can push the camera icon and once the image is displayed a 25 second timer will start and after the 25 seconds the camera will turn off. You can simply tap the icon again and the 25 second timer will restart. If you are sitting still and not in reverse, tapping the camera icon will turn on the reverse camera and will stay on until you start moving when the 25 second timer starts. Shifting into reverse will still allow the camera to come on as normal.In addition to adding the camera we also unlock the motion detection from the radio. This will allow for the following: Ability to view movies while driving (We recommend using the following link for transferring your videos to USB: http://keepvid.com/) Ability to view more video types such as MP4, AVI, MOV & WMV. Please keep video size to under 1 GB and always use 480P as GM does not recognize HD playback on these units. It is very important to refer to your owners manual for the type and maximum size flash drive that can be used in your car. GM vehicles do not support all brands and all sizes, thus we recommend referring to your owners manual to insure you are using the proper type and size. Not following the owners manuals recommended size and type will result in the unit not properly playing videos and music. Ability to enter an address while driving (Nav units only) Ability to enter a text while driving (Please be careful though) Ability to pair a phone while driving Also any other features that are currently locked out while driving will be unlocked Please be careful as these features are a distraction and must be used with caution.Programming of the radio module(HMI) is required to allow all of this to function. We at Gen5DIY have come up with the following ways of going about this upgrade.1.) You can send us your HMI module and we will program the module for you. You will have to down your vehicle for this, as you cannot drive with the HMI module not installed. Normal turn around time is 2-3 weeks.2.) You can purchase a replacement module and we will program it to your cars specs and once you install it and return your original one to us, we will refund you the cost of the replacement module minus $50. This allows you to not have to down your car at all. When going with this option please select your current configuration of either navigation or non-navigation. If you do not have navigation please do not select navigation as this is not an upgrade kit3.) You can take this opportunity to upgrade to navigation if you currently have the Non-Nav version(IO5) in your car. The Nav kit consists of a navigation HMI module and a under dash mount GPS antenna.
