Ena Nakamarra Gibson passed away in January 2011. Her home was the Aboriginal Community of Nyirripi, in Australia's Northern Territory, 460 km northwest of Alice Springs. Story The country associated with this Jukurpa is Kiwirrkura, west of Kingtore, in Western Australia. The Dreaming travelled as clouds, lightening and thunder from Kiiwirrkurra, north to Warlarla (Rabbit Flat) and beyond to Purtalypa (Christmas Creek). The circles in the work show the water holes made by this dreaming and the lines are representing sandhills near Kiwirrkura. Show more
