FAMAG 1621 is a ball-bearing depth-stop designed for use with FAMAG Forstner bits (F1622, F1623, F1624, F1630, F1663, F1664) and Bormax® counterbores. Simply mount the collar on the bit shank, adjust the depth, and lock it in place to drill blind holes with exact, repeatable depth—every time. The ball-bearing cage ensures no marring of your workpiece, while interchangeable guide bushings center the tool perfectly in pre-drilled cores 📏 Technical Specifications Complete set (Ø 10–50 mm), includes circlip pliers & wooden case Guide Bushing Inner Ø: 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, 16 mm (for bit Ø 10–50 mm) Bushing Lengths: Overall 75 mm, usable 50 mm Material: Hardened, precision-ground tool steel; sealed ball-bearing cage Compatibility: Fits FAMAG Forstner & Bormax® bit shanks; requires matching pilot-drilled hole 🎯 Key Benefits Exact Depth Control: Set and lock depth once for uniform blind holes. Workpiece-Safe: Ball bearings prevent pressure marks or scuffs on the surface. Quick Changeover: Snap-in guide bushings center instantly, no wobble. Versatile Range: Supports countersink Ø 10–50 mm with one collar and multiple bushings. Durable Construction: Hardened steel and quality bearings for long service life. ⚙️ How to Use Pre-Drill Core Hole: Use the correct pilot or centre drill to match your guide bushing’s ID. Install Bushing: Slide the bush onto the depth-stop collar until it seats firmly. Mount on Bit: Push the assembly onto the bit shank and secure the circlip. Set Depth: Rotate the collar to the desired stop position and tighten the locking screw. Drill: Drill your blind hole—bearings will roll smoothly against the workpiece, halting the bit exactly at set depth. For Deeper Holes: Flip the guide bushing to increase available travel before re-locking.
