New for 2019 CCM has introduced its newest version of the Extreme Flex blocker, they haven't had to change much on the new E4.9 blocker as it was already a well balanced, protectiv e comfortable blocker. What CCM has brought on the newest version is an easier wrist strap, the new strap is a lighter weight material that is also not going to restrict mobility when compared to the previous leather velcro strap.
