Jane Austen's chapter is named "A Country Rector's Daughter" and is still a fine introduction to Miss Austen for young people. Her companions include Jenny Lind, Joan of Arc, Jane Addams, Lady Jane Grey. Spine is faded and bowed. Binding is no longer tight. Original owner's inscriptions from 1932.
