About the 1745 Heavy Looped Tubes Looped tubes are the simple, tough side of slingshot power. Instead of cutting and tying flatbands, you loop a finished tubeset onto your fork and go, and you keep going, because tubes take a beating. They stretch, snap back, and hold up to the wear and tear that wears other bands out. Actually tearing a tube is hard to do, and tube shooters tend to be loyal for exactly that reason. Ours are made in China to SimpleShot's spec, built for slingshot performance. The 1745 is our heavy tube, built for big ammo like 1/2" steel and .44-caliber-plus lead, for maximum power on hunts and hard hits. Sized by your draw length. Choose Small (up to 30 inches), Medium (30 to 35), or Large (35 and up), each tuned to about 450 to 480% elongation for a strong, consistent pull. Want more speed? Pick the range just below your draw length; it shoots faster, with a little less band life. Light, easy to loop on, and ready whenever you are.
