This photo is so special to me. I was hiking into my favorite surf spot one day when I noticed this random peak down the beach load up and peel each direction like a perfect a-frame. I sat and watched it for a bit and it just did this over and over again. So I suited up and had one of the most memorable sessions of my life. The wave was at the mouth of this tiny little creek and, that fall, we were starved for rain. The creek didn't blow out for over a month and I surfed this perfect little sandbar all alone for weeks on end. As much as I wish it was always this good, the memories of this perfect little sandbar remain fresh in my mind, all these years later. All images are printed using the finest Epson papers.
