Sure, chronographs such as the Rolex Daytona or the Heuer Carrera are classics - icons even, but neither can match the stature of the Speedy with regards to importance in history. This particular example, a Reference 2998-4, dates to circa 1961 and features a gorgeous, evenly patinated matte black dial with an early alpha handset, Omega's Calibre 321 hand-cranking movement - widely considered to be one of the most significant movements ever made and is nothing short of legendary - and a correct matching flat-link bracelet with a blade clasp.
