The main body, which serves as the base for the fusion of sound and design, is machined from an 8mm diameter phosphor bronze round bar. The tip insertion section has a cross slit t o ensure maximum contact area. The tip diameter was selected based on the size of a WBT speaker terminal. After more than a dozen cuts and tries in 30-micron increments, we selected the sweet spot that allows for easy insertion and prevents it from coming loose. The cable insertion diameter (4mm) is matched with a 5mm screw. This ensures a perfect connection when using stranded wire. The screws are made of stainless steel. To finish the product, the body is carefully buffed by hand, given a mirror-like finish, and then plated twice with thick silver and rhodium. ◆Materials and Structure Smooth and tight. Phosphor bronze is used to minimize the number of parts and to ensure a secure hold with excellent spring properties. The screws that secure the cables are made of blued stainless steel that has been hardened. Hardening the screws improves their mechanical strength and also helps prevent oxidation. An 8mm phosphor bronze rod is machined with high precision using a highly programmed CNC machine. The machined body is then mechanically barrel polished and then individually buffed by hand.
