Rhea Chiles, founder of Florida House, painted an “1840 Old Florida Map” for longtime friend Judge Richard Bronson to hang in his chambers. After the judge retired, the painting we nt missing, but it was discovered at an estate sale in Lakeland. In Mrs. Chiles’ honor, the 1840 Old Florida Map is being reproduced to benefit Florida House. The giclée reproductions are printed on canvas and are shipped in a tube.
