SLIDEmoto Bar End Sliders + Handguards: Most Aftermarket Handguards w/ Aluminum Wrap-Arounds: (Use #1850) Install the Bar End Slider between the bolt and the aluminum bar, then thread on the expansion hardware. This is easiest to do before inserting the hardware assembly into the bars. Composite Wrap-Around Handguards on regular handlebars: (Use #1850-HDWR)Commonly found on FS 450, 450 SMR, and 690 SMC-R. Loosen the handguard bolt and slip the hardware out of the bars so it's not lost inside the bars, then fully disassemble. You won't need the original bolt or the outer silver cup spacer. Insert the new longer flat head screws through the Bar End Slider, followed by the handguard, and then into the expansion hardware. Then reinstall into the bars. Composite Wrap-Around Handguards on Warp9 Tapped Handlebars: (Use #1850)Remove all OEM handguard hardware. Take the silver collared spacer out and re-install into the handguard from the inside. Then insert the W9 torx bolt through the Bar End Slider, the black W9 aluminum spacer, and handguard/silver spacer, before threading into the W9 Tapped Bars.
