Circa 1900 Navajo Second Phase Chief Blanket style weaving worked in the classic banded format of alternating cream and dark brown stripes. The field is overlaid with horizontal bl ue bars and vibrant red and yellow rectangular elements, reflecting the late transitional period when commercial aniline colors were incorporated into traditional Chief Blanket designs.
