About the brand: Guido Galardi began experimenting with fragrance formulas in 1920 and opened the Bottega Italiana Spigo in Firenze. However, Guido's dream seemingly ended in 1925 when his son Renato showed no interest in continuing the newly established family business. But as luck would have it, at age thirteen, Giudo's grandson Enzo began studying with the great fragrance expert Piero. Enzo entered the fragrance business in 1985, and in 2005 he founded Bois 1920 in honor of his grandfather - reinterpreting his original recipes.
