1935 Charlotte Rhead Patch Pattern 4015 Crown Ducal Jug Shape 207 This stunning piece of art deco pottery is a 1935 Charlotte Rhead Patch Pattern 4015 Crown Ducal Tube Lined Jug Shape 207. In very good condition with no major chips, cracks or restoration, the jug does have some age related crazing and 'nibbles' around the edge of the base. Approximate Size: Height: 21 cm Base Diameter: 10.8 cm Tope diameter, including handle: 17cm Designed by Charlotte Rhead when she worked for AG Richardson & Co Limited, Staffordshire, England, whom traded under the brand name, Crown Ducal. In keeping with other Charlotte Rhead's Patch Pattern items of this production era, 1935-36, the jug (shape 207) does not have the C Rhead facsimile signature. It does have a Crown Ducal 1935-1939 back stamp and an indiscernible mark under the back stamp. Crown Ducal Made in England A beautiful pattern with green, orange and lemon enamels over a greystone glaze with blue tube lining. You don't often find the Patch pattern in this shape.
