On offer is an original manuscript notebook, handwritten by published author Alfred H Peat, mainly on Sussex Churches. The book deals with over 40 churches and other topics, and wa s drawn on heavily for the author's published work "Churches and other Antiquities of West Sussex", published by J W Moore in Chichester in 1906. The book measures 23cm by 19cm, is signed "A H Peat, Chichester 1904" at the front, has 259 handwritten pages, and is bound in half red morocco, blue cloth boards.
