Introduced in 1933 for the Chicago "Century of Progress" World's Fair, the Gibson L-Century of Progress is essentially an L-00 with curly maple back and sides and an over-the-top p earled fingerboard you can't miss. But in today's vintage market, the L-Century of Progress is more than a rare, sought-after piece of Gibson ephemera—it's a killer-sounding prewar small-body with the glassy clarity you can only get from maple. This 1937 Gibson L-Century of Progress is in Very Good condition. It packs unique prewar small-body tone, and its V neck profile feels straight out of the dust-bowl era.
