El Dorado rums are made at the historic Guyana Demerara plant. The name "el dorado" is said to be from "the old Amerindian word for 'land of many waters.'" The rums are selected from Versailles wooden pot still and aged for at least 21 years in oak. Copper color. Rich mocha, toffee, pipe tobacco, and brown spice aromas.
