Why This Watch Matters We love this Breitling Premier reference 787 for its perfect proportions and unusual mirrored numeral font. We wish we could find a special vintage Breitling like this more often. The Full Story This Breitling Premier is a fantastic example of everything the brand was doing right in the 1940s. The case is perfectly proportioned with its brushed case bands and the slightly downturned lugs. The dial is also incredible on this 787, with a silvery-grey sheen and triple register layout. The most attractive part about this watch, in our humble opinion, is the unusual font used for the Arabic numerals. Furthermore, this watch is powered by the truster Venus 178 chronograph movement.
