The legible dial, brightly colored handset, 12-hour sub-register, and elongated four-minute hash-marks on the 30-minute counter are all indicative of a watch created and amended for aerial navigators. The coin-edge rotating bezel with red indicator allowed for accurate timing and facilitated turning the bezel if the wearer was wearing gloves. The sub-register hands, blued-steel hour and seconds hands, and red running seconds hand provide nice contrast and are all extremely well-preserved. The lugs are still sharp and the case on the whole shows few signs of polishing, with one light scratch to the caseback. The reset function still operates well and snaps back to 12 o’clock. Overall, this is a cool vintage chrono in great condition.
