Dewar’s was founded by John Dewar Sr. in 1846 and grew into one of the world’s leading Scotch whisky brands under his sons, John A. Dewar Jr. and Thomas “Tommy” Dewar. The company further expanded with the opening of the Aberfeldy Distillery in 1896. Over the years, Dewar’s became part of Distillers Company, later passing through Guinness and Diageo ownership before being acquired by Bacardi in 1998. This vintage bottling was produced in Perth, Scotland, and bottled in the 1960s, representing a classic example of Dewar’s renowned blended Scotch whisky. Show more
