This Honda CL160 Regulator Rectifier should be used only in conjunction with the stock (OE) stator. The part will replace both the regulator and the rectifier. The OE stator is act ually (2) full wave circuits with a center tap that is being used as the 3rd leg for the ground of the regulator rectifier. It will come with a connector kit that customers will need to install, instructions included. This part is not compatible with lithium batteries. (Lithium Batteries require a lower charge point. We do have a lithium version available), please email us. Please also note this R/R has a voltage set-point of 14.9VDC.
