United States Army 196th Infantry Brigade Class A Patch Criteria: This is the shoulder sleeve insignia (SSI) worn by the 196th Infantry Brigade, nicknamed "Charges". The blue repre sents infantry and the double headed match was used for matchlock muskets and was lit from both ends to insure readiness.
