Is it a Datejust, is it a Day-Date? No! It's an Eagle 7... Said no one ever? Regardless of its design inspiration, this Citizen Eagle 7 was my 'daily' watch for many years and kickstarted KibbleWatches, and I still think it looks great today. Whilst I never wear this watch anymore and getting it out for this photoshoot was probably the first time I seriously put it on in many years, I was immediately flooded with fond memories of wearing this watch whilst working for 'Watch Station' in the House of Fraser in Leicester (when it existed) 45+ hour weeks and building 'itsKibbleTalksWatches' on the side, yes, that was the ridiculous name I started with. Thankfully, my collection, and naming decisions, have matured in the 10+ years of doing this, but this watch and the memories it holds for me are all part of my story and wearing it again is a great reminder of where it all began, and I do not take this for granted.
