This is a classic combo that's hard to beat. The Full Story Whether you're into vintage Rolex or not, you've no doubt heard about the Rolex Daytona, one of the most iconic chronographs ever produced. Among the many vintage variations, the reference 6263 has always had a cult following for two reasons: its black bezel and, even more importantly, its imposing pushers. The screw-down mechanism allows for a higher water resistance than the previous pump pushers, which were very often the Achilles heel of the Oyster case for the chronographs. This 6263 reference also doesn't bear the model name of "Daytona" on its panda dial, providing a more understated configuration that we love. Lastly, the lume condition always plays a big role in the collectability of these Rolex; here it is well preserved with a nice patina on both the handset and the lume plots. This is a stunning example of an extremely collectible vintage Rolex.
