Brand New 1978 Honda CB400A Hondamatic CDI Unit. This part only replaces Denso 070000-0271 and Honda OE # 30400-417-014. It will not replace other similar Honda models. In addition to the Denso number above, please refer to the connector image. Tech note: There are two versions – only the correct one will work. This part will mount differently from the factory part. The connectors will be the same. The 1978 CB400A years have a bullet connector instead of the 2-pin connector plug. 1979+ they changed the connector. The image is an image of the factory part it replaces. Important: You must test and correct any ignition unit issues before installing the new CDI unit. These are made to order; cancellations and returns are not allowed on this model.
