'86 Fleer is notable for containing the first modern "insert" cards: Al l-Stars and Future Hall of Famers. Card fronts feature dark blue borders (resulting in extremely condition sensitive cards commonly found with chipped edges), a team logo along with the player's name and position. The player cards are alphabetized within team and the teams are ordered by their 1985 season finish and won-lost record -- with the World Series champion Royals, first. Subsets include SuperStar Specials (626-643) and Major League Prospects (644-653).
