First released in 1983 and continued through 1997 missing only one year(1985), Prestige Sets contain proof strikings of the regular issue coinage in addition to the commemorative d ollar and half dollar from the year of release. The coins are presented in a book-like case with a special laminated enclosure of a different design than the standard proof set sleeves.
