The Clements Ribeiro line is known for its bold prints and colors. It was established in the 90s and I believe that this coat is from that time period. In 1997 the brand was named one of the "Magnificent seven" along with such luminaries as McQueen, Tom Ford, Lagerfeld, Prada, Valentino and Yamamoto. This coat is a gorgeous example of their work and has a little bit of a swashbuckling great coat feel to it. It really needs a real girl in it to properly convey the cut but I hope the photos do it some justice. The color is a rich raspberry fuchsia and it is made of a medium weight wool. It has huge cuffs and extra fabric through the back for volume. Excellent condition. Fully lined in a matching deep raspberry silky rayon. Closes with the hidden set buttons at the front.
