Buffalo Trace Experimental Collection 1993 Double Barreled Bourbon was distilled on April 4, 1994 and bottled on September 15, 2009 after 16 years and 5 months of aging. Produced f rom just two barrels using the distillery’s Rye Mash Bourbon #2 recipe, the whiskey was re-barreled on December 12, 2001 into charred white oak barrels made by Independent Stave Co. with #4 char and six-month air-dried staves. Bottled at 90 proof, the extended aging and secondary barreling emphasize a deep oak character and a long, powerful finish. Show more
