Other Dawson City businesses pictured are: Hotel Flannery, and a restaurant. Residences are seen on the hill in background. Co-owner Robert Purves McLennan was the second Mayor of Dawson City in 1903 and 1904, and a member of the Yukon Order of Pioneers. He crossed the Chilkoot Pass into the Yukon on December 21, 1898.
