A late 19th century ruby and diamond half-hoop ring, circa 1870, beautifully crafted in 18ct gold. The design features three graduated cushion-shaped Thai rubies, totalling approxi mately 1.60 carats (0.80ct, 0.36ct, and 0.42ct), each separated by pairs of old European cut diamonds. The diamonds total approximately 0.32 carats and are graded I colour, VS2 clarity. Set in a finely carved and pierced mount.
