The Belt Drives Ltd 2" Belt Drive Kit replaces the stock primary on a '90-'06 bagger with an open belt drive narrow enough to keep your floorboards. An open primary is usually a trade: you gain the look and the mechanical simplicity, then lose your floorboards to the extra width. BDL solved that with a 2" drive width, which clears stock floorboards and makes this one of the few open belt setups that works on a full dress bagger without rethinking your foot controls. What Comes in the Belt Drive Kit The kit is built around BDL's ball bearing lockup clutch, which holds pressure without the drag of a stock diaphragm spring and pulls lighter at the lever. A 132 tooth belt handles the power transfer, and the motor plate is included so the assembly locates correctly against the case. Two guards ship with it: a new full coverage side guard and a top mesh belt guard. Made in the USA.
