About this class: This class is for beginners who are interested in learning pottery. In this 2 day class, you will learn and practice throwing on the wheel and trim your pieces to give them a nice finish. Day 1: wedging the clay centering on the wheel throwing on the wheel Day 2: trimming on the wheel adding handles and carving (optional) After the class, your pieces will undergo the intricate process of bisque firing, glazing and final firing by us. We encourage you to explore and have fun with this beautiful material and are excited to see what you will make. Fees: The class fee covers all necessary materials and both firings. Pick up: Your pieces will be ready in about 5-7 weeks. Once they can be picked up, we will notify you via email and you can come during opening hours. We kindly request that you collect your pieces within two months. If you are unable to do so, feel free to send a friend on your behalf. Classes can be taught in German or English based on the students. Cancelation policy: 14 days before class starts: 100% refundable. 7 days before class starts: non-refundable.
