For the Emeco 2 Inch Collection, Emeco and Jasper Morrison together have created a collection of tables that reflect Emeco's values and uncompromising standards - a product family that is strong, simple, timeless and engineered to last. The table column is beautifully formed into a softly rounded square shape with a flat base. The 2 Inch Aluminium Frame taps into Emeco's heritage in hand crafting recycled aluminium, leveraging its signature strength, lightweight attributes and sustainability to create a versatile family of tables. Jasper Morrison developed the table using a two-inch profile for the column. This rounded-square extruded aluminium tube has the best strength-to-weight ratio possible to let the table use the least amount of material whilst providing the maximum amount of strength. Complemented with a hand-brushed aluminium or Accoya wood tabletop, the table is a remarkably sturdy and durable item, built for lifetimes of use. Accoya is a new sustainable, modified wood that works just as well outdoors as it does inside. It's treated in a non-toxic acetylation process (a bit like pickling) that makes it durable, rot-resistant and dimensionally stable. Thanks to the use of high-performance materials, the 2 Inch Outdoor Cafe Table is a timeless piece for both indoor and outdoor settings. The 2 Inch Outdoor Cafe Table is also available with an X-shaped base.
