H-17.7 in, W-13.7, D-12, in good vintage condition (see photos for normal wear and patina). These appear to have been modified by the addition of screws to attach the seat to the b ase (they do not appear to be early/first edition versions, which used screws to attach). The Dot stool was developed by Arne Jacobsen and Fritz Hansen during the 1950's, as the Danish architect was working the Ant chair. While creating the chair Arne Jacobsen spent a lot of time at the Fritz Hansen factory testing, refining and finalizing his project. The result of the collaboration was presented to the market in 1954 as a three legged stool in teak veneer. In 1970 the stool was redesigned with four legs. Shipping (continental U.S.): $85.
