This course takes you through all the basic skills in professional make-up artistry. It covers day, evening, special occasion and bridal looks plus techniques such as the popular classics such as the smokey eyes and vintage liner. The course also includes colour theory, understanding skin and business planning to help you kickstart your career with confidence. It is suitable for both beginners and those who wish to refresh or update their skills. After completing the 2 week course and on completion of your ‘working portfolio’ you will be assessed by an external examiner from the awarding body. Courses are balanced between demonstrations and hands on practical workshop. You will also be required to theory test and practical exam and submit coursework and a business plan as part of the course.
