CUSTOM TONES ETHOS OVERDRIVE The Ethos Overdrive is an overdrive/preamp that packs two-channel drive circuits and a wide range of features sought after by guitarists into a compact pedal-sized unit. The sound design is modeled after the 1970s Dumble Overdrive Special, known as an icon of handmade high-end guitar amplifiers. This unit perfectly recreates the Dumble sound—high-fidelity yet extremely musical, sensitively amplifying the nuances of your picking and the guitar’s own volume control. Furthermore, the TLE/Classic switch (TLE: Tight Low End) allows you to choose between the classic Dumble sound—with its thick, compressed low and midrange—and a more hi-fi, modern sound with a boost effect and a wide tonal range.
