The ST62—a true classic among classics. It recreates a Stratocaster from around 1962, featuring a small headstock and a rosewood fingerboard. It features orthodox controls: 1 volum e, 2 tone, and a 5-way switch. This Vintage Standard '62 Stratocaster features a basswood body and original pickups that produce a bright, sharp Fender tone. The parts show some discoloration and minor rust, and the overall finish has weathered to resemble a “Vintage White” color. There is a chip in the clear coat at the top of the headstock, and a small crack in the finish at the neck joint. There are multiple dents accompanied by paint cracks and indentations on the sides of the body and the lower part of the top, and there are overall scratches and small dents.
