Our system replaces Ford's sump-mounted oil pump with a high-capacity gerotor pump positioned behind the timing cover, gaining crucial crossmember and ground clearance. To ensure reliability, we have incorporated a proven pump design utilizing Melling sourced components that mimics the factory pressure level. Should your application require additional oil pressure, we offer a high-pressure spring kit (part# 302-102) for easy installation. Unlike most pumps that require removing the oil pan to change the pressure spring, we have introduced a first-of-its-kind external access port, allowing hassle-free spring switching. Moreover, our cast aluminum oil pan features a performance-minded windage tray and baffle, guaranteeing proper oil pickup during high G maneuvers. For extreme situations, such as drag racing, upgrade to the optional race baffle (part #302-105) to always ensure proper oil delivery.
