How is Mirror Gray Black PVD Made This finish is made by starting with a pre Mirror polish ed sheet of Stainless Steel, it is then coloured with a process called PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) during this process Chromium Atoms are fired into the surface of the stainless with a particular process giving the Chromium a chance to change into a Gray Black Colour before atomically embedding into the Stainless Steel and becoming the new surface.
