Your quest in 20 Strong involves navigating a shuffled deck of cards that present unique challenges. Each card introduces a thrilling scenario—be it an enemy encounter or a specific task, such as the Lockpicking challenges you might encounter in the Too Many Bones deck. To tackle these challenges, you’ll rely on a set of 17 dice, each offering different odds for success, along with three adjustable stat dice that form the essence of the “20” in 20 Strong. By rolling enough successes, you can conquer a challenge and reap its rewards. However, failure comes at a cost: you’ll take damage and advance to the next card—unless your HP stat dips to zero, wiping out your chance of victory. Careful management of your HP Stat, as well as your Strategy and Recovery stats, is essential.
