In Tanglewood: Red you are journeying through a varied and branching path of forest cards towards the cottage and your inevitable showdown with the Big Bad Wolf. You will roll dice to explore the upcoming paths, with your results determining whether the paths laid out ahead of you are daytime (easier) or night-time (harder). The farther ahead you explore, the more agency you will have over choosing from the branching, twisting- one might even say "tangled"- paths.
