A bold addition to Springbank's core range from the iconic Campbeltown distillery, this lightly peated (around 15–20 ppm) single malt is distilled 2.5 times from floor-malted barley and fully matured for five years in ex-bourbon casks. Non-chillfiltered, natural colour, released quarterly in small batches. Bottled at cask strength 57.1% ABV (equivalent to 100 proof in old measurements). Tasting Note: Aromas of bright green apples and zesty orchard fruits, laced with gorse bush florals, chewy wine gums, a mineral seaside edge and a gentle whisper of coastal peat smoke. The palate is vibrant and well-balanced, bursting with a touch of ashy peat smoke, sweet icing sugar and creamy white chocolate, evolving into savoury layers of tomato leaf, sunflower seeds, linseed oil and a hint of flinty minerality. The texture is oily and youthful, with peppery spice building mid-palate alongside vanilla pod and lemon zest. The finish is lively and persistent, drying through honeyed gooseberries, toasted malt, sea salt and a fading peaty ember that lingers invitingly. A thrilling reimagining of a retro Springbank classic, where the bourbon casks amplify the distillery's signature brine, light smoke and fruit without overwhelming its finesse. An essential entry to the lineup at exceptional value. ----------------------------- Product Type: Single Malt Whisky ABV: 57.1% Region: Campbeltown
