This is a brand new stator for the Harley Davidson Softail, years 2001 thru 2005. This unit has been manufactured to eliminate stator burn out. The insulation is designed to withst and temperatures of 600 degrees and above. These stators provide a much longer service life due to their ability to operate at lower temperatures.
