Founded in 1798 at Orkney Islands by Magnus Eunson, it started as an illicit operation before receiving an official license in 1826. Today Highland Park is the second-northernmost single malt distillery. Now owned by Edrington Group, it remains devoted to tradition, using locally sourced barley hand-turned and peat-dried on-site. Matured predominantly in European and American sherry seasoned oak casks, the iconic 12 Year Old single malt whisky is spicy and well-rounded.
