For Bill Keightley’s 75th birthday, Maker’s Mark released a limited-edition bourbon on April 5 in Lexington. Keightley, the only UK basketball staffer to serve under five coaches s ince 1962, requested all proceeds go to the UK Basketball Museum. His jersey was retired at Rupp Arena, and he joked, “You’ve made it in Kentucky when your face is on a bourbon bottle.” In partnership with Keeneland, Maker’s Mark annually released fundraiser bottles, with this being the second year supporting the museum.
