This is a transponder key. The blade is Y160 and the chip is 64 Texas Crypto 3rd Gen. This works on many Chrysler Dodge Jeep Plymouth vehicles. Have a local locksmith cut the key t o work your vehicle. Turn the ignition to off and remove the second key. 3. Insert the newly cut invalid key into the ignition and turn the ignition to on within 60 seconds. After 10 seconds a single chime will sound. The theft alarm light will stop flashing, then it will turn on for 3 seconds; then it will turn off. The new key has been validated and will be able to start the vehicle.
